Fundraising letters are critical for non-profits to get the support they require. The following is how I would communicate large ideas and keep them impactful.

The Goal

Create a compelling fundraising letter for a non-profit event.

The Result

One of the more difficult things I’ve had to write for multiple reasons. For the purposes of the assignment, I chose to represent a veterans nonprofit, which was running an event a few days before Remembrance Day.

Describing in raw but concise detail the emotional struggles these men and women go through was hard, but pivoting to an event advertisement was a tall order. After multiple drafts, the final copy reaches the goals I put for myself effectively.
